The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the College of Medicine is proud to announce its collaboration with the “Make Good Use of Your Home Pharmacy” campaign. This event is implemented as part of an effective partnership with the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing, and under the umbrella of the university’s ongoing commitment to community service and social responsibility.
The campaign is held under the patronage and supervision of:
• Prof. Nehad El-Mahboub – Acting President of Misr University for Science and Technology, Dean of the College of Medicine, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Suad Kafafi University Hospital.
• Prof. Rehab Abdel Moneim – Dean of the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing.
• Prof. Ahmed Fouad – Vice Dean of the College of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The campaign aims to collect surplus medications from citizens and redistribute them to those in need, as part of the college’s plan to organize regular medical convoys targeting underserved communities, in cooperation with multiple partner organizations.
The campaign is supported by the Drug Support Fund Committee for Medical Convoys, with both colleges working together to ensure the availability of a wide variety of medications, thereby maximizing benefit for the patients visiting these convoys and beneficiaries of the campaign.
This collaboration between the College of Medicine and the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing reflects the spirit of institutional synergy within the university and extends a series of joint initiatives aimed at supporting community development and fulfilling the university’s vision of serving people and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals
